Move Payroll Move Physio & Pilates Kimberley

Terms of use

Effective 27 September 2026. These terms cover the Move payroll app at payroll.movephysioandpilates.co.za.

In short: this is private payroll software for Move Physio & Pilates Kimberley. Only people the practice has given a sign-in may use it, and the take-on form is only for the person the link was sent to. The software helps with calculations; the practice remains responsible for its payroll and its returns to SARS.

1. Who is who

The app is used by Move Physio & Pilates Kimberley (8 At v Niekerk Street, Kimberley, 8301, South Africa; movepilatessa@gmail.com). It is built and maintained by JL Reynders, trading as JLR Dev, Bloemfontein, South Africa (jan-louis@jlrdev.co.za), which licenses the software to the practice.

2. Who may use it

Only people the practice has given an account. Keep your password private and sign out on a shared device. A take-on link is personal: it may be used only by the employee it was sent to, and only to give that employee's own details.

3. What the software does and does not do

The app calculates pay, PAYE, UIF and SDL from the tax tables it holds, and produces payslips and tax certificates. Tax tables change, and the figures depend on what is entered. The practice must check its payroll and remains responsible for paying its staff correctly and for its submissions to SARS. The app does not file anything with SARS or the Department of Employment and Labour.

The payroll is stored on the device it is used on. Use the cloud backup, or keep your own copies: clearing the browser's data without a backup erases the payroll on that device.

4. Acceptable use

Do not try to reach another person's data, test or bypass the security, or use the take-on form to send anything other than your own true details.

5. The software

The software, its design and code are the property of JL Reynders, trading as JLR Dev and are licensed to the practice, not sold. They may not be copied, resold or reverse-engineered except as the law allows. Third-party components are listed under Licences and remain under their own licences.

6. No warranty

The software is provided as it is. Care is taken to keep it accurate and available, but it is not promised to be free of errors or always available, and it is not tax or legal advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, JL Reynders, trading as JLR Dev is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability for anything arising from the software is limited to the amount the practice paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. This does not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence or anything else that cannot legally be limited.

8. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other law that cannot be excluded. If a term conflicts with such a right, the right applies and the rest of the term stays in force.

9. Your information

How personal information is handled is set out in the Privacy notice.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.

11. Independence

This app is independent software. It is not made, endorsed or approved by the South African Revenue Service or by any other payroll software company, and names such as SARS are used only to describe what the software does.

12. Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version is published here with a new effective date. Questions: movepilatessa@gmail.com for the practice, or jan-louis@jlrdev.co.za about the software.
